Overview
ApexKit is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or process your personal data on our servers.
Data Storage
All data you create in ApexKit applications (racing lines, tracks, settings) is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to our servers
- Is not accessible to us or any third party
- Can be deleted by clearing your browser data
No Account Required
ApexKit does not require user registration. We do not collect:
- Email addresses
- Names or personal identifiers
- Payment information
- Location data
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns. If implemented, this would only collect:
- Page views (anonymized)
- General geographic region (country level)
- Device type and browser (anonymized)
No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Third-Party Services
ApexKit uses the following third-party services:
- Map tiles: Satellite imagery is loaded from Esri. Your IP address may be visible to this service when loading map tiles. See Esri's Privacy Policy.
- Fonts: Google Fonts may be loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Cookies
ApexKit does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Technical cookies may be used for essential functionality only.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) don't apply in the conventional sense. However:
- Access & Portability: Your data is already in your browser. You can export it using built-in export features.
- Erasure: Clear your browser's local storage to delete all ApexKit data.
- Data Processing: We don't process your personal data on our servers.
Children's Privacy
ApexKit does not knowingly collect any information from children under 16. Since we collect no personal data, children can use the service with the same privacy protections as adults.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Significant changes will be noted on this page with an updated revision date.
